Cages go through repeated moves in production and storage; using them well keeps goods and packaging intact through turnover, cuts loss, and skips repeated repacking. Direct mechanical handling speeds logistics and lowers both storage cost and damage rate. First, unfolding. A folded cage needs two people. Stand on two sides, raise the front mesh panel first, then the joined side and back panels, swing the side panels into the base, seat them against the front panel, and finally insert the front-panel door latch into the side panel. The assembled cage must sit flat and square on all four corners; if it is not flat, do not use it — check that all panels and latches are seated. Carelessness causes accidents. Second, loading. Open the door latch and lower the upper fold-down door to load. Keep the load centered; off-center piles tip once stacked high. Third, moving. Always move cages by forklift or pallet truck — never by brute lifting. No rough handling, and never bump the cage; a cracked cage is a real repair headache.
