Xintongnuo has custom-built galvanized warehouse cages for years, and the most common customer question is which treatment "galvanized" actually means. There are three standard surface treatments: galvanizing, powder coating, and black (uncoated) parts. When people say "galvanized warehouse cage" without further detail, they usually mean cold galvanizing. Galvanizing itself comes in two types: hot-dip galvanizing and cold galvanizing. Without special customer requirements, Xintongnuo defaults to cold galvanizing, which covers most production and storage environments. If the operating environment is humid or harsh, hot-dip galvanizing is recommended. Hot-dip cages resist corrosion and moisture far better and last longer in damp settings. But hot-dip costs noticeably more than cold, so Xintongnuo's advice is to choose by your actual environment; there is no reason to pay extra for hot-dip just because it sounds better.
