A customer asked: can a warehouse cage be made very large? The answer is yes, but it is bounded by a few pieces of equipment. The first limit is the mesh size. Most mesh panels today are welded on a spot welder, and the welder itself has an upper limit on the grid size it can weld; the bottom-frame channel steel panels face the same limit. Would a seam welder work instead? It can, but some panels may not weld firmly on a seam welder and sometimes need touch-up welding. The second limit is the surface-treatment equipment. Take common cold galvanizing: the mesh size is bounded by the size of the galvanizing tank, and a cage made too large cannot fit in the tank. Given these equipment limits, Xintongnuo can generally build a foldable warehouse cage up to 2.3 m long. Anything larger needs a special process discussion. So if you truly need a large cage, talk to the maker early about the goods size and load so they can assess process feasibility - do not lock the drawings first and then look for a factory.
